Preparation of the mission

Data processing

The process begins with aerial triangluation, which allows for a precise georeferenced pixel image, in both altitude and planimetric coordinates, from the UAV flight parameters (position and altitude) and from correlation points between successive images.<br /> The result is a dense point cloud from which is extracted a digital surface model. It first recreates the relief of the area of interest, then an orthoimage of the reference projection system area (Lambert 93) to the desired spatial resolution.


Data acquisition

Two operators are present, the first operates the UAV and the second is in charge of associated safety measures. Once the UAV takes off, it automatically travels the area thanks to the pre programming (made upstream during the preparing flight phase). With our UAVs’ performance, we can cover 40 hectares in just 20 minutes.


Areas definition

We determine the fill sector, the redevelopment area, the extraction sector edges and the repair areas. These deliverables are certified by a professional geometer.

Information safety

UAV’ sensors and actions are constantly monitored on the control panel. If there is any mistake during a flight, it will be quickly detected and manually adjusted.

Staff security

The main advantage of this reconnaissance is the security, because it will prevent the geometer to find itself in hazardous situations. Less movement between inventory or near the fronts, less presence among the machines. Without counting the burial and ground falls risks.
